The Municipality of Stintino is closing the panoramic road and Via Sassari for the opening of construction sites for urgent road surface restoration work .

The traffic closure is scheduled from February 4th to April 5th , a period necessary to secure the two major arteries. The road upgrade project will involve an investment of €620,000 , entirely funded by the municipal budget. Specifically, the project includes resurfacing the road at critical points; new steel-wood guardrails; and a traffic island. In addition to the complete resurfacing of the road near the barrier replacement, a new traffic island made of recycled rubber will be built at the intersection of Via Sassari, Via Tanca Salidda, and Piazza Municipio, a crucial traffic hub. To minimize disruption and ensure access for residents of the "I Tamerici" district, the work on the Panoramica has been divided into two phases. The first phase (from February 4 to March 4, 2026) will close the section between the intersection with Via Lepanto and the "I Tamerici" area to traffic. Residents will be able to access the road only from the SP 34 side. Phase 2 (from March 5 to April 5, 2026) will close the section between the SP 34 and the "I Tamerici" area.
