Firefighters intervened this afternoon in Riola Sardo to rescue a dog that had fallen into a canal.
The medium-sized animal was spotted by a passerby swimming with difficulty, unable to escape from the water. The emergency number was immediately notified, and the firefighters responded promptly.
The rescue took place near a farmhouse close to the town center.
