A reckless overtaking maneuver then led to an argument between two drivers that escalated to the point where one of them intentionally rammed the other car. It was a tense night on Provincial Road 10, between Riola Sardo, Narbolia, and San Vero Milis.

According to the Carabinieri's initial reconstruction, the incident arose from a misunderstanding after overtaking. Immediately afterward, an argument erupted between the two drivers, which quickly escalated and culminated in an unexpected and violent reaction from one of the drivers, who intentionally rammed the other car. After the impact, the driver fled the scene and disappeared. The alarm was raised immediately, and the Carabinieri responded to the provincial road and began an investigation to locate the culprit, who may already have been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
