Irregularities have been noticed by the soldiers of the Arbatax Finance Police who in Ogliastra have applied penalties of 110 thousand euros .
In the case of the recipient of the subsidy, a fine increased by 20 per cent was imposed on the manager , while for four of the responsible merchants the provision to close the business was also taken.
The inspections made it possible to unmask managers of restaurants, pizzerias and kiosks that employed workers without having made the required communications to the competent bodies. The circumstance, in addition to constituting an administrative offense, did not ensure workers any form of protection for contributory purposes, or assistance in the event of an accident.
The owners of the businesses were warned to regularize the workers and to comply with all the formalities required by law. The service activity is part of a wider and more constant device for the prevention and repression of undeclared and irregular work prepared by the Provincial Command of Nuoro, implemented to protect the protection of workers and fair competition in the market.
