Regional Councillor for Public Works Antonio Piu was injured in an accident that occurred this early afternoon on the Olbia-Arzachena motorway.
Todde, a member of the Municipal Council, was driving back from La Maddalena, where a major public project was completed: the redevelopment of 62 public housing units in Moneta.
It's said to have been a head-on collision. The councilor wasn't driving the car.
Piu, along with the other people involved, was transferred to the emergency room of the Giovanni Paolo II hospital in Olbia.
According to the little information leaking out of the hospital , he suffered a minor chest injury: he underwent all the required tests in these cases. None of the other people on board the vehicles involved are reported to be seriously injured.
