Raduano Escape, 14 on Immediate Trial: Also the Officer Who Provided Him with the Cell Phone

Immediate trial for the 14 suspects in the investigation into the sensational escape of Marco Raduano , the Apulian boss who escaped from the Badu'e Carros prison on February 24, 2023, who after his capture spoke with investigators, becoming a collaborator of justice. Indicating names, places and circumstances that favored him in his escape and his fugitive status.
The trial will begin on July 9th before the judges of the Court of Nuoro. The prosecutors of the DDA Danilo Tronci and Emanuele Secci are supporting the accusation. The charges are, to varying degrees, aiding and abetting and procuring non-compliance with a sentence aggravated by mafia facilitation and possession of weapons . At the preliminary hearing after the arrests, they had all availed themselves of the right to remain silent.
Also under accusation is Salvatore Deledda, the prison police officer from Siniscola who allegedly provided the cell phone with which Raduano, once he escaped, contacted the network of accomplices. Also on trial is the Orune breeder Antonio Mangia . He was allegedly the first to be contacted from the cellar on via Sassu in Nuoro where Raduano had to take refuge because the car that was supposed to make the “collection” had been checked by the police.
The other defendants are Massimiliano Demontis , 47, from Sant'Antonio di Gallura, and the farmers from Padru Elio and Mauro Gusino, aged 59 and 32, their nephew Antonio, aged 39, Pietro Antonio Tolu, 51, and Martino Contu from Bitto, 54. They are represented by lawyers Giancarmelo Serra, Francesco Marongiu, Erika Dessì, Roberto Corrias, Giuseppe Talanas, Potito Flagella, Agostinangelo Marras, Sergio Milia, Ivano Iai, Giampaolo Murrighile, Stefano Stochino and Gianluca Aste.
