"The cup is now full. Our island's emergency rooms, the first real battlefield for the health and lives of citizens, have been transformed into a dangerous testing ground . We are entrusting terminally ill patients, the so-called red codes, to paid doctors who, in some cases, appear to boast only of experience at equestrian centers or travel agencies on their CVs. This is an unprecedentedly serious matter that certifies the total failure of this government."

This is the attack on the Todde administration by the Brothers of Italy party, which, through regional councilor Alessandro Sorgia , the first signatory, presented an explosive question, signed by his colleagues Masala, Mula, Piga, and Rubiu, to shine, he explains, "a disturbing light on the management of the emergency and on the contracts awarded to temporary employment agencies."

"In September 2025," Sorgia states, "ARES evaluated the CVs of these professionals, but Report No. 7 shows that most of them were found unsuitable due to a lack of specialization and European requirements. Yet, these same unsuitable doctors were regularly sent by the contracting agency to cover shifts in our emergency rooms, treating the most serious emergencies."

"We're talking about professionals who, in some cases, may not even have medical liability insurance coverage . If a patient were to suffer damages due to negligence, who would pay? The Region? ARES? Or the citizens of Sardinia?" Sorgia continues.

The FdI councilor then points to the lack of oversight and the absence of measures: "Despite the dramatically unfilled shifts and the constant reports, ARES hasn't applied any contractual sanctions against the agency. It seems that last December, doctors who had already been rejected were again re-proposed. There's a complete lack of oversight and clinical governance."

"Under Governor Todde's leadership," Sorgia concludes, "the Sardinian healthcare system has reached a level of degradation and danger even worse than the already disastrous management of the previous councilor Bartolazzi . The skin of the Sardinians is no laughing matter. In light of this scandal, the Brothers of Italy group demands that President Todde draw the necessary consequences and immediately resign, to protect public health and the dignity of our institutions."
