"Solidarity doesn't take a vacation, and neither does the need for blood": with this motto, Avis Olbia invites you to the third appointment of its blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Red Valley Festival. After stops at the churches of the Sacra Famiglia and San Simplicio, the bloodmobile will be at the Delta Center in the industrial area today, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., just steps from the Olbia Arena, where the spotlight will be on the major musical event in a week's time. All donors will receive a free ticket to the event. In the previous two appointments, 58 blood bags were collected.

"Donating is a simple gesture that saves lives," explains Avis President Gavino Murrighile: "With Red Valley, we want to thank those who choose to do so and, at the same time, build a bridge between solidarity and the local community." He makes an important point: "The free tickets are absolutely not intended as a reward for the donation, but simply as a way to show our appreciation to the donors who have always been there and close to the community." The initiative is part of a youth engagement program launched by Avis Olbia, which has involved around a thousand students during the school year.
