As part of its “Seen Up Close” project, which includes a series of visits across the island, today the “Sardinia towards UNESCO” association stopped at the Sanctuary of Santa Vittoria in Serri: over 60 participants, led by archaeologist Federico Porcedda , were able to explore this marvelous Nuragic complex spanning over 30 hectares.
"This project represents a step in the journey of rediscovery and valorization of the ancient Sardinian civilization that the association " Sardinia towards UNESCO " has been pursuing for years," comments one of the leaders of the "Seen up Close" project, Ennio Filigheddu.
"The high participation in these events , true journeys of discovery of the Nuragic heritage, testifies to the importance of the extraordinary uniqueness and identity of our ancient civilization, which we Sardinians are the first to struggle to recognize and value," added the other project manager, Maurizio Melis. He concluded, "It is a source of great satisfaction that the participants are happy."
