A 53-year-old man, a security guard, was sent to trial by the Tempio magistrate, Marco Contu, on charges of sexual assault for an incident that allegedly took place at the entrance gates of the Red Valley music festival in Olbia (August 2022 ).
According to the protests of the Tempio Prosecutor's Office, the security guard, abusing his role, forced two girls to undergo a metal detector check which, according to the prosecutor, constitutes sexual violence.
The security guard would have touched the breasts of one young woman, the other would have been groped in the groin after the check with the metal detector, despite the fact that, writes the prosecutor, "the electronic device had not detected anything anomalous".
The man, defended by the lawyer Aurora Masu, denies all the accusations. The trial will begin early next year in Tempio.
