For a week, 35 young people from different European countries will live an immersive experience among Masullas, Morgongiori, Pompu, Siris, Gonnostramatza, Mogoro, Laconi and Genoni.

A project that will allow young people to discover stories, traditions, and crafts that capture the most authentic soul of Sardinia. The hub will be Masullas, which will host the youth throughout the week (along with the facilities in Pompu). "Trame d'identità – The Rural Way" is the name of the European youth exchange project that focuses on dialogue between cultures, the discovery of rural areas, and the valorization of local identities. The initiative is promoted by the Studenti per la Città association, with the support of the Sardinia Region, Department of Tourism, Crafts, and Commerce, and implemented in collaboration with "TDM 2000 Estonia," Fondazione Parte Montis, and the Municipality of Masullas.

The idea was born to promote experiential and sustainable tourism, combining craft and food workshops, nature treks, intercultural encounters, and moments of community participation that intertwine identity, memory, and innovation.

"It will be a valuable opportunity," explains Antonio Martis, vice president of the "Students for the City" association and project coordinator, "to showcase these beautiful and culturally rich areas, but also to address important issues like human rights through experiential activities aimed at young people from across Europe. We strongly believe in building connections that can also offer young people from Marmilla the opportunity to network with other young Europeans, sharing common cultures, ideas, and values."

In Masullas, activities will take place at the MonteArci GeoMuseum, the Botanical Garden, and the spaces of the Parte Montis Foundation, which will welcome participants and foster dialogue with the local community. Activities include a "traditional dinner" in Mogoro, a visit to the "Casa del Pane" in Pompu, the Cuscusa Farm in Gonnostramatza, the Aymerich Park in Laconi, and the Genoni Museum.

For the Parte Montis Foundation, this is an opportunity to reaffirm the role of small towns as places of encounter, education, and social innovation. "We are proud to be a partner in such a meaningful project," says Ennio Vacca, president of the Parte Montis Foundation. "'Trame d'identità' demonstrates that even small towns can generate international experiences capable of uniting young people, communities, and regions. Sharing our history, our nature, and our traditions is the most authentic way to build new forms of belonging and promote conscious and respectful tourism."
