These words were uttered by a Sardinian woman yesterday at the Agnata before the start of Diodato's live performance, a guest at the Time in Jazz Festival stop at Fabrizio De André's Sardinian home. The individual in question was Matteo Salvini, sitting in the front row next to Dori Ghezzi and other illustrious guests such as Fulvio Collovati, Gianrico Carofiglio, and Cristina Parodi.
The protest was recounted by Roberto Cotti, a former senator for the Five Star Movement, who was present in the audience and immortalized the scene with photos and videos. The girl's gesture was greeted with applause. But no one else wanted to miss the musical event.
The disappointed spectator also targeted Dori Ghezzi, considered the hostess and responsible for the Lega Nord's presence. De André's wife, Cotti recounts, "took the microphone, reiterating her left-wing views, but adding that she was in favor of dialogue." And Salvini remained there, according to Diodato. Before singing, he said: "I'm in favor of not kicking anyone out. But," he emphasized, "I hope De André's music will shed a little more light on our political class."
