"I'll stab you 82,000 times in the stomach, like the money owed to me by the Municipality of Castelsardo and the Region of Sardinia . And my knife is always razor sharp." A 60-year-old Piedmontese man thus threatened a social worker from the town of Anglona , the target of numerous intimidations and curses from 2022 to 2023, all sent by the man via institutional email. These included "Tomorrow I will end your physical life," or "My worst wishes for unspeakable misfortune," and various death wishes. These phrases were followed by harsh insults directed at the woman, who ultimately decided to file a complaint.

And yesterday in Sassari court, the man was sentenced to 10 months of probation by preliminary hearing judge Gian Paolo Piana. His defense attorney, Carlo Foddai, announced he will appeal the sentence.
