Poste Italiane sent children's messengers to Santa Claus . Special postmen, using a special red box, collected the children's letters to Santa Claus and delivered a small Christmas gift.

In Santu Lussurgiu, the initiative involved many local children in the municipal playroom. With great joy, they handed over the special letters to the postal staff, addressed to the bearded and generous recipient, as happens in many towns and cities across Sardinia.

"It's a truly special moment for the children," commented the Logistics Center on Via Liguria in Oristano, which serves Santu Lussurgiu . " They eagerly await the opportunity to physically deliver their letters, filled with wishes, so that they can reach Santa Claus as quickly and as safely as possible. Of course, it's a wonderful experience for us too, as we enjoy listening to their many questions about the journey their letters will take, as well as about Santa Claus and his habits."

Tens of thousands of letters have arrived at the Cagliari Sorting Centre, posted in the 442 post offices and in the numerous red drop-off boxes located throughout Sardinia .

After delivering their special letters, the children left the Lussurgese playroom satisfied, happy and certain that the magic of Christmas can also be felt in the hands of a postman, a crookedly stuck stamp, or a song sung in line.
