A poorly lit open space, spaces limited by an almost eternal construction site and the few sports equipment, the primary reason for entertainment for many young people, who have disappeared into thin air. And the protest makes itself felt.

The image of the degradation offered by the “Eroi dell'Onda” square , in front of the Renaredda beach in Porto Torres , has for some time made children and youngsters go away. There is no trace of the baskets placed in the area, uprooted and thrown to the ground by some vandals, sports equipment that served as a pastime for many young people always ready to animate the square even with tournaments and basketball games.

Someone civilly wrote it clearly on one of the wooden fences of the construction site, which has been underway for three years in the former Sailing Center: “ A day of celebration, three months without baskets. W tourism, W young people. Dark and decadent square ". A protest to signal the lack of outdoor sports facilities, with a clear message to find a solution to the restoration of the baskets that could allow leisure and entertainment activities to young locals and beyond.
