A catwalk to exorcise the disease, celebrate the courage of those who fight it, and restore identity and femininity to women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments.

The "Christmas That Heals" initiative, a charity fashion show featuring cancer patients suffering from alopecia, took place today at the Cagliari Fair. Each of them wore wigs donated free of charge by the Charlibrown association, the event's organizer.

The evening will be hosted by Cagliari influencer Christian Basciu, aka “Kry Fisso Ridendo”.

"We've found a certified line of wigs—medical devices, in other words—designed specifically for cancer patients with alopecia. They're designed to protect, to respect the skin, to support those who are vulnerable and struggling," explains association president Emanuela Ambu. "When a woman wears the right wig, designed for her, she's not just wearing hair, she's also gaining a piece of courage, the ability to leave the house without fear."
