The investigating judge of the Court of Tempio, Claudio Cozzella, closed the maxi investigation into the "cap" bridges in the town of Olbia and the failure to carry out the works of the anti-flood package known as the Mancini Plan with an archiving decree.

We are talking about the file that led to the seizure (ordered by the investigating judge Claudio Cozzella) of 18 works dangerous for the safety, in terms of hydraulic risk, of Olbia.

The suspects are the mayor Settimo Nizzi and the municipal manager, Antonello Zanda, both exonerated. The investigation hypothesized omissions that would have resulted in the non-elimination of the "incongruous and improper" works of the hydraulic network of Olbia, the dangerous works indicated by the Noe of Sassari to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Tempio on the basis of the list contained in the Mancini Plan (the package of anti-flood measures rejected by the Region in 2020).

But the Gallura prosecutor's office found that only a small part of the works were owned by the Municipality of Olbia, the arguments of the defense lawyers Pietro Carzedda and Jacopo Merlini were accepted. The memoir of over a thousand pages and the interrogation of Nizzi were decisive. The bridges must be released.
