On Sunday, November 9th, at 7 pm, the Andrea Parodi municipal theatre in Porto Torres will once again raise the curtain to present “Another Faust,” a show produced by La Camera Chiara that revisits a myth over five hundred years old, in which a man kissed by fortune barters his soul with the devil in exchange for something more.

Faust, revisited in many aspects and inspired by the character from Christopher Marlowe's drama, will take a short but intense journey that will lead him to a better understanding of himself, but too late.

The show, with text by Giovanni Caravello and direction by Stefano Chessa, is the product of the theatre workshop of La Camera Chiara, the association that manages the Parodi theatre together with other local organisations .

"With this show, our laboratory takes another step forward in experimenting with new theatrical languages and genres. We're tackling a controversial drama like Faust, reinventing it and combining theatrical language with photography," said director Stefano Chessa.
