Fire just after midnight in Quartucciu : the alarm was raised in via Nazionale where a non-medicalized ambulance affiliated with Areus caught fire and was completely destroyed.

The alarm was raised by some motorists with the immediate arrival of the Carabinieri of the Sinnai station engaged in a preventive service in the territory. The Fire Brigade also arrived and put out the fire. But as mentioned, the ambulance was completely destroyed.

Once the fire was extinguished, investigations were carried out with a thorough inspection: in this circumstance , the Carabinieri and firefighters did not find any evident traces to establish the malicious nature of the event.

Another similar incident is reported in via Garzia in Cagliari, with the burning of another ambulance. To be verified whether or not there are connections between the two incidents.
