Quartu: Two undeclared workers at a bar suspended and fined €10,000.

A bar in Quartu, in the coastal village of Capitana, has been suspended and fined over €10,000.

The Carabinieri of the Flumini Temporary Station, together with personnel from the Cagliari Labor Inspectorate, carried out extraordinary checks to combat undeclared work and verify compliance with workplace safety regulations.

At the bar, officers discovered two workers employed completely illegally, without contracts or relevant social security or insurance coverage. Business operations were suspended and fines totaling €10,300 were imposed. The Carabinieri are also awaiting the documentation requested from the business owner for further workplace safety checks.
