On November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the CCN La Via del Mare is launching a collective mobilization aimed at all members, citizens, and visitors to the commercial street.

A visible and shared commitment to reiterate a simple and essential message: "No to violence. Always, without exception."

Throughout the day on November 25th, La Via del Mare's activities will invite the community to stop, look, and recognize a red sign—a universal symbol of the fight against gender violence—through installations, symbolic objects, and small gestures that speak to everyone.

Operators can participate by displaying a red chair or a red shoe in their window or in front of their entrance, adding a handwritten message of complaint, or wearing a red item of clothing, involving all staff.

Throughout the day, each business will be invited to share a photo or video of their contribution, posting it on social media and tagging @ccn_laviadelmare, to amplify the power of the message.

Luca Stocchino, president of the CCN La Via del Mare, underlined the importance of the initiative by declaring:

November 25th is not just any anniversary: it's a call. A call to take a stand, as individuals and as a community. With a simple gesture, we want to say out loud that violence is never acceptable. Never. And that La Via del Mare is a place that chooses to stand with women, always.

The CCN invites all operators and citizens to participate: a small gesture, a big signal. Let's do it together.
