Quartu, nighttime robbery at a market on Via Fiume

Theft at a Coop supermarket on Via Fiume in Quartu.

The thieves forced open a window, making off with €1,200 and then managing to escape undisturbed.

This morning, police patrol cars and forensic scientists arrived on the scene to inspect the scene and begin their investigation.

Footage from several security cameras is also being monitored. Police are also trying to trace any witnesses.
