Center-right mayoral candidate Marco Porcu held his final rally today, closing his campaign at a club in Poetto: "We wanted to begin and end this journey on the seafront, because it represents the city's unifying point. Poetto has been the subject of far-sighted investments by the center-right, often interrupted and destroyed by every center-left administration that has governed this city for 25 of the last 33 years."

With him were representatives of the six lists that make up the "coalition of courage", many councilor candidates, and representatives of the political forces in support: FdI, Fi, Lega, Riformatori, Sardegna al Centro Venti20, and the civic Futura .

Then a long list of criticisms of the outgoing administration , starting with the recent traffic problems on Provincial Road 17. "We are the coalition of courage, with a precise political connotation, we are in the center-right today and will be tomorrow, those who have made different choices must know this."

Then came the mantra of change, which became the slogan of the Quartu center-right's election campaign. "The people of Quartu have been asking us for it in recent weeks; the city deserves a change of pace."

Then came the list of things to do if he won the election: "The first step is to bring the mayor's office back to City Hall; it's unacceptable that it's now far from the central offices and the citizens." And again: "Urban regeneration in the historic center to revitalize commerce, starting with the new civic market; eliminating the tax on driveways; converting the industrial area into a commercial zone; investing in the nautical industry; establishing a school of arts and crafts; establishing a citizen social record; and establishing agreements with private daycare centers." After the speech, there will be an aperitif and a final party on the beach.
