Titled "Paper Superheroes," the comic book course curated by cartoonist and illustrator Davide Deidda will be held at the former Capuchin Convent on Friday, December 19th, Saturday, December 20th, and Sunday, December 21st. This initiative is part of the exhibition "Oltreuomo – The Magritte You Don't Expect," which opens tomorrow at the same cultural center in Quartu Sant'Elena.

It will be an opportunity to discover how to bring your own heroes to life. The course will teach the fundamental techniques of superhero comics: from character design to panel construction, from dynamic poses to the expressive use of light and shadow. Through practical exercises and analysis of genre icons, you will develop your own style and create stories rich in action, emotion, and visual identity. The fundamentals of superhero comics will also be explored, including the study of anatomy, perspective, direction, and composition in panels and panels of the genre that has established a modern mythology in the US and around the world.
