Alarm raised Saturday night between Via Cagliari and Via Brigata Sassari in Quartu Sant'Elena.
Firefighters responded to a fire that broke out inside a commercial space used for the production and sale of works of art.
A rapid response team from the Cagliari Command operations center responded to the scene to extinguish the flames and secure the area. The flames engulfed some acrylic materials and paintings.
The timely intervention of the firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to the entire structure.
No people were recorded as being involved.
The Fire Department has begun an investigation to determine the probable cause of the fire. Electrical sources have not been ruled out as a likely cause.
