A lively evening in a nightclub on the Quartu coast , where the Carabinieri carried out an anti-drug operation which led to a complaint and two reports for personal consumption.

The intervention was triggered after several reports of alleged "suspicious movements" within the club, which is very popular during the summer.

The military personnel at the temporary station in Flumini di Quartu, supported by their colleagues in Monserrato, set up an observation and control service that continued until the early hours of the morning.

Attention focused on a young customer, noted for his guarded behavior and rapid contact with other patrons. Stopped for a check, he was found in possession of six small bags of cocaine (approximately 3 grams) and several packages of crystal MDMA (over 4 grams). He is a 22-year-old unemployed man from Cagliari, already known to law enforcement, and was reported at large for possession of drugs with intent to sell.

During the checks, two other young men were caught with small amounts of narcotics: a 24-year-old from Cagliari, with less than a gram of hashish, and a 23-year-old Nigerian student, found with 1.7 grams of cocaine. Both were reported to the Cagliari Prefecture as drug users.

The operation is part of the drug dealing prevention and control efforts implemented by the Cagliari Provincial Carabinieri Command , which intensifies surveillance in popular gathering places during the summer. Further investigations are underway to determine the club's possible involvement and evaluate possible administrative measures against the manager, up to and including license suspension.
