Road accident this evening on the Quartu coast, on Viale Poetto in the direction of Margine Rosso, where a driver lost control of the car which overturned .

The injured man was extricated from the vehicle by Cagliari firefighters and transported by ambulance to Brotzu Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Another car was also involved, and the driver was rescued by the staff of a second ambulance.

The legal checks are carried out by the Quartu Local Police, resulting in long lines of cars and the resulting inconvenience to passing motorists.
