Quartu, a man wins €50,000 on the 10-and-Lotto card: "He's a worker, he said he'll pay off our mortgage."

There was a party this morning at the Zanda tobacconist on Via Fiume, in Quartu, where a lucky gambler managed to take home €50,000. Lady Luck rewarded him with an immediate bet on Lotto 10 with gold and double gold for just €3. He picked ten numbers and nine out of ten came up, one of which was gold.

"He's a regular customer of ours, but not a regular gambler," says tobacconist Daniele Zanda, who is keeping the player's identity strictly confidential.

"He was very happy," she adds, and the first thing he told us was that with that money he'll pay off the mortgage. He's a blue-collar worker and a hard worker, definitely someone who needed help."

This morning, many curious onlookers approached the tobacconist to inquire about who had won the €50,000. But the gambler's identity remains confidential.
