The investigation by the Carabinieri of the Quartu Company was triggered by the complaint of a 72-year-old director of a construction company in Quartu Sant'Elena.

The man reported having an argument at work with the 44-year-old, who allegedly not only made verbal threats but also pointed a gun at him before walking away. Upon receiving the complaint, the officers began investigating the matter, identifying the perpetrator.

The 44-year-old man has no fixed address and was located in his car. When searching the car, the Carabinieri found a 6.35 caliber semi-automatic Star pistol, with the serial number removed, complete with ammunition . The weapon and cartridges were seized and will be sent to the Forensic Investigations Unit for subsequent ballistic tests. The 44-year-old was arrested and is currently being held in Uta prison.
