The Sardinian provinces - apart from Oristano - gain some positions in the ranking of the quality of life but remain in the rear .

Otherwise it could not have been in a Report, the one carried out by ItaliaOggi with the La Sapienza University of Rome, which sees a clear split between North and South. No southern or island province is among the first 32 positions .

In the lead is the province of Trento , thanks to the excellent placings achieved in eight of the nine areas considered. In the rear Crotone, in 107th position.

The best quality of life in Sardinia is recorded in the Cagliaritano, a province that ranks 72nd, gaining two positions compared to 2021 . Then there is Nuoro 77th , a leap forward compared to the 85th place a year ago.

Sassari also gains two positions, placing 79th and Southern Sardinia, 89th . Male Oristano, which drops to 91st place from the 88th it occupied in 2021.

Returning to the top of the class: in second and third position there are Bolzano and Bologna, then Florence which climbs two positions and Milan which remains stable in fifth . Leap of Siena, from 12th to sixth, while Parma slips from first to seventh place. Pordenone, Trieste and Modena close the top ten.

At the bottom of the ranking the usual suspects: Syracuse 106, Caltanissetta 105, Naples 104. Turin loses many positions, from 19th to 35th; good Como rising from 62nd to 32nd place.

In general , the quality of life is good or acceptable in 64 out of 107 Italian provinces . The study also highlights how large urban areas have withstood the pandemic better, which has destroyed several areas of the South and the Islands.

These are the nine indicators considered: business and work, environment, social and personal hardship, education and training, population, income and wealth, security, health and leisure .
