«We have always been certain of the regularity of the administrative procedures concerning the building and accommodation activities carried out in Punta Giglio by the Il Quinto Elemento cooperative, also because the Park Authority, together with all the supervisory bodies, has constantly monitored the operations carried out in the compendium of Punta Giglio». The president of the Porto Conte Park, Raimondo Tilloca, expresses satisfaction with how the judicial battle over the Rifugio di Mare, the accommodation facility born in the former military barracks of Punta Giglio, ended.

The Tar Court has certified with three sentences the ownership of the Il Quinto Elemento cooperative to be able to operate in Punta Giglio, a site that has become an environmental museum thanks to the Porto Conte Park. The Tar, putting an end to the dispute, therefore also agrees with the Municipality of Alghero which had authorized the intervention.

A dispute that has been dragging on for almost two years "and which has seen some small fringes of local society throw themselves at all costs not only against the initiative of young private entrepreneurs authorized by the state property, but against the Porto Conte special park agency , its presidency, board of directors and management", continues Tilloca, according to whom "it was clear from the beginning that none of the attacks, invectives and denunciations would have been successful".

Now the President of the Park is looking to the future, but not before having removed a few pebbles from his shoe. "Certainly the free attacks against the Park Authority will not be forgotten, both on the political and technical components, by a well-distinguished fringe of society that has tried to discredit, in vain, the operation of the structure", underlines Raimondo Tilloca, referring to the Punta Giglio Libera committee. «I have always asserted that time is a gentleman and also on this occasion the saying has not been denied».
