Envelopes, gloves and a lot of good will were the ingredients of the fifth edition of " Puliamo La Sella ", an event held on Saturday 17 June in the first stretch of Poetto beach and which then concentrated on the seabed between Marina Piccola and Calamosca.

Created by the Department of the Environment of the Municipality of Cagliari, with the collaboration of the "Mediterranean Sea and Coast Foundation" (MEDSEA), a non-profit foundation based in the city and which since 2015 has been involved in a project for the protection and enhancement of marine and coastal ecosystems of the Mediterranean, the initiative carried forward the cleaning project of the Sella del Diavolo and the surrounding areas .

«Thanks to the volunteers and with the support of Devizia – commented the Councilor for Technological Innovation, Environment and Marine Policies, Alessandro Guarracinoia large quantity of waste of all kinds was removed . Care for the environment is a fundamental objective for the administration and for this reason we will continue to be attentive and to supervise the territory. I also appeal to the common sense and civic education of those who frequent these delicate territories so that they can give their own personal contribution to the environment and its protection".

Many participants who gave their contribution to waste collection, in order to restore decorum to a particularly suggestive area of the city.
