The best Greek translator in the Cagliari hinterland is from Pula: Beatrice Zedda won the third edition of the “Aγών των νεωτέρων”, a translation competition organized by the Dettori classical high school of Cagliari, which involves all the second classes of the classical high schools of the Metropolitan City.
The aim of the initiative is to revitalize the study of the Greek language and spread its culture among young people who attend high schools in the Metropolitan City.
The young student from Pula also received compliments from the municipal administration. «We are proud of the prestigious recognition received by our young fellow citizen – says the councilor for public education, Manuela Serra – and it is nice that students are still passionate about ancient languages».
