To save a 21-year-old woman who is pregnant and at risk, this morning, at the request of the Prefecture of Cagliari, an urgent flight was made from the Sardinian capital to Florence with a Falcon 50 from the 31st Wing of Ciampino.

The aircraft - explains the Air Force - was immediately activated to transport the patient, admitted to the "Duilio Casula" Polyclinic in Cagliari, for the "Careggi" Hospital in Florence.

Departing from the Lazio airport and arriving in Cagliari-Elmas, the Falcon 50 embarked the young woman together with a medical team who constantly monitored her conditions, and then took off around 10 am. After a little less than an hour of flight the plane then landed at Florence airport. From here, the subsequent transport by ambulance to the Florentine hospital.
