Quality music returns to the Basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres. The Invoce musical association presents the first edition of "InCanto – Voci e Archi sotto le Stelle," a musical festival conceived by the choir of the same name, scheduled for Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 pm in the splendid thousand-year-old church. This project combines the energy of pop-rock with the refinement of choral and string sound.
A captivating blend of classical instruments and rock songs with modern arrangements. The show, in collaboration with the Progetto enarmonia string quartet, features a selection of international hits—from Toto to Imagine Dragons to the Beatles—reinterpreted in an elegant and surprising way.
Maestro Luca Sirigu's arrangements for choir and string quartet transform these iconic songs into new listening experiences, where the greatest pop-rock hits don their evening gowns. Admission is free while seats last. The event is sponsored by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Metropolitan City of Sassari.
