The workers of the Cim metalworking company return to the gates of the Porto Torres industrial plant. A peaceful demonstration to claim the right to the salary of 25 company employees who complain about the lack of two months' wages, but the risk is of not even seeing the next one.
The confederal unions, CGIL, CISL and UIL, have already started discussions with the CMCI Consortium, which would not have paid the dues to the Cim company for the work carried out in the industrial area. They ask for a meeting to find a solution in favor of workers, the victims of the anomalous relationships between companies and the system of low-cost procurement. «
We are in difficulty, we have reached a point of no return - explains Nando Porqueddu, FSM-CISL union delegate - desperation has taken over and today we find ourselves protesting again to try to satisfy our rights". Tomorrow, Thursday 25 July, the second day of protest in which around 50 CIM workers will participate. The first protest began on Monday, but no favorable response had come from the companies.
