Drums and drums containing used industrial oil, a special hazardous waste which, if discharged into the environment, could turn into a dangerous pollutant.

They were found in the countryside of Ponti Pizzinnu, on the outskirts of Porto Torres, by the men of the barracellar company coordinated by Captain Gavino Cuccu, engaged in the surveillance and environmental protection of the territory. Two huge landfills, a real ecological bomb, poisons indiscriminately abandoned along the country lanes where waste dumping bans insist.

In the countryside there is also an illegal landfill of air conditioners, about twenty carcasses and dozens of air conditioning filters, ceiling lights and neon lamps, mountains of waste dumped among the vegetation along the paths that lead to Ponti Pizzinnu, one of the most critical and object of abandonment of dangerous material.

Continuing further on, other heaps of car and bicycle tires, well-placed drums and bins containing used oil, known for its difficulty in being disposed of, capable of causing serious damage to the ecosystem. Another landfill was discovered along the road that leads to the intersection with Bancali: it is assumed that it is the same person or company, which would have disposed of the material sold in its store. Among the waste, plastic price lists were found that are placed on the shelves of the goods for sale. Captain Cuccu informed the local police, the municipal councilor for the environment, Daniele Amato and the mayor Massimo Mulas.
