The Kolors , the Milanese band composed of Antonio “Stash” Fiordispino (vocals and guitar), Alex Fiordispino (drums and percussion) and Dario Iaculli (bass), will be the protagonists of the Easter Monday in music that will be held in Porto Torres on April 6th.
The group will take to the stage for the 5th edition of "Note sotto la Torre - Pasquetta in musica per l'Asinara" , the major event that will liven up the entire day with music, markets, exhibitions, and artistic installations, hosted in the green space surrounding the Aragonese Tower and in the historic city center.
A winning formula that, after the great success of recent years, the Municipal Administration has chosen to replicate in its essential contents and which, as always, is based on the collaboration between the Municipality and the numerous local associations, the citizens, and the commercial activities of the CCN Botteghe Turritane.
This year's event, once again dedicated to promoting the Gulf and the island of Asinara , aims to offer citizens and visitors a quality event capable of attracting thousands of residents and tourists to the city, who will be able to learn about the vast cultural, environmental, archaeological, and food and wine heritage of Asinara.
For the musical portion of the event, the Administration has opted for a high-quality lineup, with a special focus on the younger crowd. The afternoon concert at the foot of the Aragonese Tower will feature The Kolors. The Milanese disco-funk band, led by the charismatic "Stash," will take to the stage in Piazza Colombo at 5:00 p.m. to captivate the audience with a sound that blends pop, rock, funk, and electronica, with strong international influences.
The group's concert, which rose to prominence after winning the fourteenth season of Maria De Filippi's Amici , marked a turning point in their career and cemented them as one of the most exciting acts on the Italian pop scene, is the highlight of a day that will also feature local bands and artists performing live in various venues around the city center starting at 1 p.m.
But Pasquetta Turritana will kick off in the morning when, at 11 a.m., the large pedestrian area will officially open, stretching from Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Via Mare, hosting stalls, craft and art markets, and kiosks selling food and drinks.
Meanwhile, between Piazza Umberto I and the Church of the Consolata, two-wheel enthusiasts can admire a splendid static exhibition of historic Vespas organized by the Porto Torres Vespa Club , while the little ones can have fun in the children's area set up with inflatable games in Piazza Eroi dell'Onda. An area dedicated to promoting Asinara will be set up in Piazza Colombo, where visitors can discover the wonders of this jewel of an island thanks to the Park's staff.
The island's rich and unique fauna and flora will also be promoted through artistic installations created by the Arcobaleno company and the projection of evocative images of its natural beauty on a large screen, provided by Daniele Amato of Isola Mea.
This year's programme of events is also enriched with guided tours of the city's archaeological sites, starting with the marvelous Necropolis of Su Crucifissu Mannu , recognized in 2025, together with 16 other prehistoric sites in Sardinia, as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
Tourists and visitors will be guided through the thousand-year history of the Turritano area by the staff of the Municipal Tourist Office. Meanwhile, the Municipal Administration has already submitted a request to the Regional Directorate of Museums of Sardinia for the special opening of the Turritano Antiquarium Museum and the Turris Libisonis archaeological site.
"The Easter Monday program will be further refined next month," said Culture Councilor Maria Bastiana Cocco . "We are working with local artists to arrange musical performances in city venues throughout the day. This year, too, we're aiming for a winning formula based on quality artistic performances.
We've chosen to offer the public a concert by a fresh, energetic, and genuine band, capable of appealing to the tastes of different generations. Our city, thanks to the contribution and active participation of associations, merchants, and residents of Porto Torres—who represent a fundamental resource—will prepare to best welcome the thousands of people who, we trust, will choose Porto Torres again this year to spend a joyful and carefree Easter Monday.
