Temperatures close to thirty degrees enough to push bathers to take a bath without too much hesitation. In late October, Balai beach reached the same numbers recorded in the height of the summer season. Tourists and locals filled the splendid beach of Porto Torres which, at midday, was almost sold out.

Called by the great heat and the magic of the autumn sea, they planted their umbrellas in the sand, while the canoeists did not give up their excursions along the coast. Surreal scenes with entire families or groups of friends who gathered on the beach on the Balai seafront as if it were August 15th. Ditto for the clubs, bars and various restaurants that can still take advantage of a summer climate before the first rains arrive to announce that the season is over.

It's about riding climate change and thinking that the month of October is now more summer than autumn, with truly surprising heat waves. On weekends the seafronts and beaches are still stormed, even though the lifeguards have dismantled their turrets as the seaside calendar dictates.
