Nocturnal invasion of mice in the upper part of viale delle Vigne, near piazzale Conad in Porto Torres . Residents of nearby homes took to the streets with brooms and brooms to fend off the crazed rodents that had invaded the paved area. There were dozens of them. Not far away is a green area where the mice find shelter.
A nightmare for the inhabitants: "We fear there is a colony in search of food that goes out to explore at night and invades the street with the risk that they can enter the houses", say the residents. "We tried to send them away using special medicines but they had no effect" . The same situation has been repeating itself for a few days now and the inhabitants are exhausted, tired of having to chase after rats to hunt them when they approach the entrances to houses.
They ask the Municipality for an intervention of disinfestation and deratization of the whole area . In the meantime, they have alerted the local police to find a solution to the emergency situation, which poses problems of hygiene and public health.
