An old, dirty tent with no comforts for patients waiting their turn to visit the Emergency Medical Service at the ASL Andriolu Outpatient Clinic in Porto Torres.

The complaints are daily. "Inside, two rickety chairs, and people queuing in the cold. Among them, a little girl forced to endure these unacceptable conditions along with other users," complains Davide Tellini, former councilor of the Municipality of Porto Torres, protagonist together with his adult daughter of an episode that he defines as "a disgrace". "It is an unworthy scenario," he adds, "that makes me ask myself a question: do we really live in a civilized city or in a third world country? And yet it would take so little, it would be enough to buy a heated container that could serve as a temporary waiting room, in addition to ensuring decorum in the space in front of the health facility and at the same time that dignity to which all patients are entitled: from children to the elderly".

In recent days, councilor Sebastiano Sassu had asked the municipal administration to find a solution to the inconveniences endured by the elderly, while waiting for their turn in front of the Polyclinic, a safe place to wait for the doctor, instead of a gazebo inadequate to guarantee shelter from the cold, during the winter period.
