Independent road accident in via dell'Industria, in Porto Torres. The car crashed into a street lighting pole. Luckily the driver did not suffer serious injuries, but the car, an Opel Agila, was seriously damaged.

It happened this morning at 8am, when for reasons yet to be ascertained, the man skidded and lost control of the car. He went off the road and hit a light pole. The structure was demolished and later removed by the firefighters of the local detachment who, having intervened on site, made the area safe.

The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries but refused treatment. The carabinieri of the Porto Torres company were also on site and carried out the investigations.
