The Fish Festival overlooking the sea in the Gulf of Asinara has recorded another successful turnout. This central event of the Festha Manna festival has proven to be one of the most beloved and well-attended events for the Porto Torres community and its many visitors.
On Sunday, May 31st, Piazza Eroi dell'Onda was sold out, with approximately 1,100 kilograms of fried fish, 1,800 meals distributed by approximately 80 volunteers to the many people queuing to enjoy the delicious seafood, freshly prepared according to tradition. A day of celebration that combined flavor, identity, and conviviality, where even 150 celiac sufferers enjoyed gluten-free fried food. All washed down with a fine glass of wine.
The event, organized by APS Maestrale in collaboration with the Municipality of Porto Torres, is proving to be a highly popular event, showcasing local traditions and strengthening a sense of community. The day was rounded off with musical entertainment from the Bazzoni Brothers, Spotifois, and Master G DJ, who immersed the audience in a festive and collaborative atmosphere.
