He didn't just steal, he also consumed alcoholic beverages at the bar. The theft occurred at Marco's bar, around 3:30 a.m. between Wednesday and Thursday, one of the establishments on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the heart of Porto Torres.

It wasn't a lightning-fast move, but the thief calmly gained easy access by forcing open the gate and then the front door. He entered carrying a bucket filled with alcohol and soft drinks, then approached the cash register and stole the evening's takings, around one hundred euros. While he was filling the container with bottles, he took a few breaks to consume alcohol before fleeing. The footage was captured by the venue's internal security cameras, and is now being reviewed by the Porto Torres police, who have launched an investigation.

The manager was surprised the next morning. "I discovered everything when, at the bar's opening, one of the employees alerted me, telling me that the takings had been stolen," explains manager Marco Serra, "and I subsequently reported the incident to the police." The serial thief had apparently "visited" other bars and businesses, which had also been robbed, and according to an initial identikit, the man appears to be a foreigner.

"From the security cameras, I recognized the person who stole it, and I felt so angry—for me, who built my business with so much sacrifice, and for those who, doing the same job as me, know how hard it is to run a business," the manager emphasizes. "Before reporting what happened, I thought for a few days, then I realized the importance of reporting these incidents to protect the people who work behind the counter, especially the most vulnerable who, in a dangerous situation, would be unable to defend themselves. I believe that reporting means protecting the most vulnerable people, above all."
