Seals have been placed on a shipyard in the Porto Torres port area. The environmental monitoring operation "Clean Waters 2.0," organized by the National Environmental Control Center of the General Command of the Port Authorities - Coast Guard and conducted by the Porto Torres Port Authority, was coordinated by the Northern Sardinia Maritime Directorate.

The measure, validated by the preliminary investigations judge of the Sassari Court, was issued following an investigation initiated by the Maritime Police Section of the Sassari Coast Guard. The investigations identified alleged shortcomings in environmental regulations related to waste management, discharges and emissions, as well as the occupation of state-owned maritime land.
