Closed due to insults to the healthcare and administrative staff behind and in front of the counter. The Medicasa Outpatient Clinic, the ASL-approved service that has been operating for several years on Via Falcone e Borsellino in Porto Torres, has decided to close for a day .

Not by choice but in protest against the continued and repeated verbal attacks directed at medical and secretarial staff by users, insults during service hours that have become intolerable.

The owner, doctor Alberto Mura , shared a day of strike by closing the facility yesterday, Friday 17 July and crossing his arms.

"Every day we work with commitment, professionalism, and respect to care for people. Rudeness, insults, and aggressive behavior cannot and should not be considered part of our job," say the managers of the Medicasa Outpatient Clinic.

"Enough with the rudeness of users, sometimes expressed through messages, and increasing incidents from those demanding prompt appointments, without understanding that everything depends on the timeframe imposed by the organization. These are inexcusable behaviors, insults that prevent us from working with peace of mind."

The strike is a sign of protest but also a demand for respect for those who serve the community every day.
