A century of life, a smile and kind words for everyone.

Natalina Preziosi, a brilliant and cheerful woman, is the new centenarian of Porto Torres.

A goal - the century of life - celebrated with the mayor Massimo Mulas , in a moving meeting, as the mayor recounts: «It was a real pleasure to have visited Mrs. Preziosi - on the occasion of her hundredth birthday - to wish her well also in the name of the entire municipal administration and the entire city".

Originally from Avellino , she worked for many years as a midwife in Nurra, lived in La Corte, a hamlet of Sassari, and served in all the villages of the area. She spent a day of celebration in the company of her loved ones, welcoming the visit of the mayor who spent time with her, moments of emotion for both.

"To thank me - said Mulas - he wanted to sing songs from his native land and some warhorses such as "Va' pensiero" and "Fratelli d'Italia"".

There are currently eight centenarians living in Porto Torres . "We should always keep in mind that people who, like them, have lived such a long life - underlines the mayor - have many anecdotes to tell, they are custodians of stories and lived history and represent a real wealth for the entire community ».
