He ended up in prison after an attack on his father-in-law.

A 48-year-old pizza chef from Porto Torres was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Valledoria company, for the crime of mistreatment against family members , in execution of a precautionary measure aggravated by the investigating judge of the Court of Sassari.

The military tracked him down at the pizzeria that the man runs. The man, who is now assisted by the lawyer of the Sassari court Luca Sechi, is said to have violated the precautionary measure to which he was subjected several times, triggering the procedures provided for by the “Red Code” , culminating in his arrest, carried out by a patrol of the Carabinieri who took him from his restaurant to take him to the barracks, in Valledoria, after having searched his apartment.

The pizza chef had been separated from his wife for over a year, who had chosen to move with her minor children to another municipality.

On the evening of December 2nd he had arranged to meet his ex-wife in a club on the Sorso coast, probably to clarify some pending issues. On that occasion, however, it was his father-in-law who showed up instead of his daughter.

For reasons yet to be clarified, the 48-year-old brutally attacked the 75-year-old pensioner, forcing him to seek treatment in hospital.

The father-in-law is hospitalized at the Santissima Annunziata in Sassari after suffering four fractured ribs, jaw injuries and several bruises.
