A raid by the judicial police of the Sardinian railway police department on the building , owned by the Italian State Railways, illegally occupied by several homeless people , near the port area of Porto Torres , a few steps from the Nino Pala maritime station.

The operation, carried out in collaboration with the Sassari railway police, led to the precautionary seizure of the property, issued by the investigating judge of the Sassari Court, and the filing of charges against five Italian citizens accused of the crime of invasion with intent to occupy the building.

The measure was adopted following investigations that also revealed the building's state of environmental degradation. Three of the occupants were transferred to a reception center , thanks also to the support of Mayor Massimo Mulas and the Porto Torres local police.
