Another rescue operation yesterday morning by the lifeguards of the Vosma social cooperative on Porto Ferro beach, on the Sassari coast.
Yesterday, lifeguards Flavio Dore and Alessio Gallisai noticed a dangerous situation: a man had entered the water to help his two children, who were in difficulty in a current. The three, attempting to swim back to shallower water, were unable to counteract the force of the current that was pushing them out to sea. The two lifeguards, seeing the panic, quickly intervened with two rescue boards, first lifting the two children and then the father, bringing all three safely back to the beach. No one reported any physical injuries.

This operation adds to the long series of rescues that have been characterizing the summer in Porto Ferro, a body of water with a risk of strong currents even when the sea is not particularly rough. The sea rescue service will continue until September 13th.
